Installing Command Center on Linux

  1. In the extracted edgeCore release, go to the bin folder.
  2. Run the configure script.
  3. Configure the following:
    a) HTTPS (SSL) support
    b) HTTP/HTTPS TCP port
    c) Tomcat shutdown port
    d) Preferred Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
    e) Whether to install Edge as a service (must be root)
    By default the service name is edge; however, a custom service name can be provided.
    f) Server Mode — Select Enterprise Management Console
    g) Cache DB
    Supported cache databases: H2,  MySQL8+, Oracle, and SQL Server;
    h) Auth DB
    Supported authentication databases: H2, MySQL8+, Oracle, and SQL Server;
