edgeCore and the underlying web application server (Apache Tomcat) produce a number of log files which can be used to monitor the operation of the product and for diagnosing issues.
Note: By default, the Full Admin role has the View Logs permission. If you want another role to have the permission to view server logs, you need to assign them the permission in Provision Roles > Permissions > System > View Logs.
You can access logs either in the
[INSTALL_HOME]/logs/ directory or in the system menu (System > Server Logs, as shown in the screenshot below).
To view the contents of a specific log file, you need to click on the log file button at the top. Additionally, you can also download all logs as ZIP.
