edgeCore 3.8.3 Release Notes
Resolved Issues
ES-173: Added ability to turn off alternate row shading in Tooltip Actions.
ES-224: Enhanced DateTime formatters default offset to better account for Daylight Savings Time for data that does not already include zone/offset values.
ES-224: Added default year, month, day handlers when converting strings to dates (where year, month, day information is missing).
ES-231: Improved error handling to present admin with an error when the SSO rule name and content feed name are the same.
ES-288: Updated connections, feeds, and transforms to allow them to be saved even with errors, except for required fields or unique name checks.
ES-303: Improved drop-down selector for displaying Stacked Visualizations.
ES-320: Resolved issue where edgeWeb SSO can fail when using static expression credentials. These expressions did work when applied to a variable credential. This was a regression of ES-248.
ES-323: Resolved issue where origin and referrer headers were not replaced correctly on requests. Requests originating on domains other than main connection were getting replaced with the hostname of the main connection.
ES-345: Resolved issue where Referenced Datasets failed to be displayed in the SQL Transform configuration page when using an Internet Explorer browser.
ES-351: Resolved issue where SQL Transform Jobs was not refreshing after transforming error correction. The only way to refresh was to edit each node on the pipeline.
ES-354: Updated PageView access entries to properly display the latest information. This was a regression from edgeSuite 3.8.2.
ES-357: Updated edgeData Feeds and JobStatus display to handle cases where jobs would reschedule when they are saved but failed to cancel the existing job timer. This was a regression from edgeSuite 3.8.2.
ES-384: Resolved issue where ‘connectionTestRequestTimeout’ was not honored (default timeout is 15 seconds). This applies to connection tests and feed validation.
ES-385: Resolved issue where edgeWeb Data Feed request header configurations were incorrectly included in SSO requests.
Known Issues
edgeCore uses the H2 database in support of the SQL Transforms. SQL that uses Common Table Expression (CTE) ‘WITH’ clauses have been identified as causing two issues.
- Lock Timeouts: Transforms fail to run; as temporary tables fail to be cleaned up.
- Memory Leaks: The temporary table results are not being cleaned up properly in all instances; and it will trigger Out Of Memory on the JVM.
