Web content available in existing products can be presented inside of edgeCore through a Web Content Connection. Refer to the action section for more information on working with web content inside of edgeCore.
- Web Connection: The information required to connect to a web application.
- Web Feeds: A method of bringing web content from an application into edgeCore.
The pipeline for web content is shallow because the data retrieved is proxied content that is already prepared for presentation. By the time it reaches the Edge server, web content is not normally structured in a way that is suitable for programmatic transform or analysis. Web Connections bring third-party content and functionality directly into the Edge interface.
