edgeRPA New Features
ES-273: Added ability to add click steps.
edgeCore New Features
ES-526: Added auto-load archive support used to initialize a clean system. This can be used when there is no system content, and an archive with a certain naming convention exists. The feature will automatically load that archive when the system first starts, the DB is empty, and it is not loading another archive.
Updates to edge.sh Command Line Interface
ES-513: Updated edgeCore CLI (es-cli.sh|bat) command to support permissive HTTPS (out-of-the-box) connections to edgeCore servers, or secure mode (only certificates listed in the trust store, or the locally configured edgeCore’s Tomcat certificate, will be trusted).
ES-518: Added edgeCore CLI (es-cli.sh|bat) command for reading/writing configuration settings (./es-cli.sh config -s global -k pipeline.safeSubstitution -v false). This command replaces the existing ‘./edge.sh config‘ command that would queue up the command.
ES-520: Added edgeCore CLI (es-cli.sh|bat) command used to change a connection endpoint, dataset, or account adapter property value. In the context of this command, a dataset is any feed or transform that exists in the edgeCore pipeline. (e.g. ./es-cli.sh edit -s connection -n telco -e Endpoint1 -p port -v 3306)
edgeCore Resolved Issues
ES-286: Resolved issue where client proxy content requests that were rejected by the Security Filter error handling would render edgeCore nested in edgeCore.
ES-516: Resolved issue where unintended inline styles of width and height were being set in the HTML Template Visualization outer container.
ES-519: Resolved regression in the restore of system default provisioning of look and feel and login page configurations.
ES-558: Resolved regression where Client Filter listings were displaying as empty, even if Client Filters were configured.
ES-559: Resolved regression where Rule Set listings were displaying as empty, even if Rule Sets were configured.
Known Issues
edgeCore uses the H2 database in support of the SQL Transforms. SQL that uses Common Table Expression (CTE) ‘WITH’ clauses have been identified as causing two issues.
- Lock Timeouts: Transforms fail to run; as temporary tables fail to be cleaned up.
- Memory Leaks: The temporary table results are not being cleaned up properly in all instances; and it will trigger Out Of Memory on the JVM.
